World Flying Disc Federation website

WFDF is the peak international federation for all flying disc or frisbee sports.

Site includes:

  • latest news
  • upcoming events
  • rules, world records and world rankings

This project is currently live and undergoing further development.

Australian Hotels Association national website

The AHA represents hotels around Australia and is the national office linking the state bodies and lobbying at a federal government level. This project is basically a reconstruction of an existing site and content.

Work done includes:

  • stripping out content from framed environment

Ask Stefi website

Ask Stefi is a website community for swapping information about home service providers such as builders and tradespeople.

Features include:

  • find a home service provider throughout Australia, and see what others thought of them
  • rate service providers that you have used
  • over 100 home service categories
  • on-line membership payments
  • monthly email newsletter in text and html

Development is taking place on a Linux/Apache server with dynamic content provided by PHP with a MySQL database backend.

This project is currently live and undergoing constant updates.

Sports team registration system

This online sports team and player registration and payment system includes the following services:

  • list of upcoming events
  • daily, monthly and annual calendars
  • detailed description of events
  • player registration, update and searching
  • team registration and update
  • secure credit card transactions for payment of association and event fees

Development is taking place on a Linux/Apache server with dynamic content provided by PHP with a MySQL database backend.

This project has been installed for Ultimate Frisbee NSW, an association which runs over 40 competitions per year, and is currently live.

AHA (NSW) website

The AHA (NSW) is an industry association representing over 1000 hotels in NSW. The website provides various services to its members, including:

  • latest news from the association
  • calendar of events
  • information about industry award wage rates
  • training course information and booking
  • information on responsible gaming
  • collation and presentation of accommodation statistics for all hotels

AFDA website

The Australian Flying Disc Association Inc. (AFDA) is the peak national body for flying disc sports including ultimate frisbee.

The website provides various services to its members, including:

  • news
  • calendar of events
  • archival information
  • corporate governance information
  • membership database with individual logins
  • transaction tracking for membership fees
  • photographs
  • surveys

Development is taking place on a Linux/Apache server with dynamic content provided by PHP with a MySQL database backend.

Trash Talk

Trash Talk is an on-line news service for the Australian Flying Disc Association, which is the peak organisation for the sport of Ultimate Frisbee in Australia. The site allows members to post and browse news articles and photos. All articles are edited and approved by a team of editors who access the site asynchronously.

Development is taking place on a Linux/Apache server with dynamic content provided by PHP with a MySQL database backend.

Timesheet system

Client: Optus Outsourcing

The timesheet system was developed for a staff of over 100 people. Functionality includes timesheet checking and approval mechanisms. A Delphi front-end is distributed over a LAN with a Sybase server providing database and backup services.

WaterIDE modelling visualisation

Client: Patterson, Britton & Partners

WaterrIDE is an interactive development environment for combining geographical data from a variety of sources for display and analysis. It was developed for a civil engineering consultancy, Patterson Britton and Partners, for use in flood and water quality modelling.
